This product has a long tradition and a distinctive taste that has no counterpart.
All bars are produced in our new production facility in Tangermünde. All our specialty bars are made by hand, largely as confectionery products.

The first nutrient sticks were produced in 1954 and quickly enjoyed great popularity. Starting in 1962, butter was banned for a time in industrial production. Margarine was used as a substitute, and the modified nutrient sticks were marketed under the name Espada Stick. In the mid-1970s, the nutrient stick was temporarily discontinued. Due to the high degree of handcrafting and the high-quality ingredients, production was discontinued. We, the Stehwien confectionery, have been producing this confectionery since 1985. We have kept the old tradition of nutrient sticks alive and further developed the recipe.
The Tangermünder Nährstange® is still produced in our company today with a high proportion of manual labor.
